WHAT'S NEW IN PHASE ALTER

Custom Audio Sources. Sounds You Won't Find Anywhere Else.

PHASE ALTER introduces custom audio sources recorded or sound-designed by Nick Thurl Mavromatis specifically for this suite. These original sources create distinctive sounds that go beyond conventional wavetable synthesis, while opening up new possibilities for the presets built around them.

Full Distortion Chains Inside Serum 2

Complex distortion stacks, pedal-inspired processing and filtering, built directly into the presets. There is no "Fuzz pedal" distortion inside Serum 2 nor "Clipping Distortion" which both are distinctive types of distortion for many Alternative oriented productions.

Now you got all of it, and more, loaded already into the right preset. You're welcome:)

Customizable Tonal Risers

Nick's signature intense, tonal risers are now available as Serum 2 presets, rather than only as audio samples. Control the pitch instantly and customize the sound to fit your arrangement.

Dramatic orchestral-inspired sounds designed for impact, tension and atmosphere. These emulations are manipulated and processed to deliver a bigger, more modern character suited to alternative production, cinematic music and hybrid arrangements.

Expanded Vocal Leads

The vocal-based leads from previous releases were among the most distinctive sounds in the collection. PHASE ALTER takes that concept further with new presets, more advanced sound design and improvements to previously problematic sample-loading issues.

This is a given for every new sample pack by now, but can't be left unmentioned since there always are more amazing artists / producers popping up and we're always looking for new inspiration for our sound design suites. 

What you’ll find inside “PHASE ALTER”:

- Presets for all around use but adjusted for the alt aesthetic. Examples: Basses, Plucks, Leads, Arpeggiated Patches (NEW), Pads, Ambiences.

- Presets unique to this pack such as:  Brahms, Sirens, Alarms, Stabs, Vocal Leads, Feedback Emulation, Rhythmic Tension, Guitar-like presets, Pitched Percussion, Tonal Risers, Bass drops.

- Classic audio effects for all around use in the form of audio samples / one shots. These include: risers, impacts, explosions, bass drops, stabs, exhausts, reversed sounds etc.

- Same types of audio effects as described above, but designed from the ground up for the alt aesthetic, again in audio sample / one shot form.

- Conventional percussion but sound-designed in a unique to this library hybrid way blending real and synthetic drums for the biggest, most modern but also realistic sounding drums.

- Some more common or unique percussion or effects audio samples/ one shots.

- Do I need any plugins to use the presets?
Yes you need Xfer Records Serum 2 to load the presets.

- Does this work with all DAWs?   
Absolutely yes!

- Do the presets work with both Mac and Windows? 
Again yes.

- Do the presets actually sound like the demos?
Yes they do, even more so compared to previous packs. More tips / details in the "Read Me" file included with the download.

- Can I listen to real life examples of released songs so that I know how the presets and samples sound in a FINAL mix?
